St Modwen opens Wythenshawe’s Haletop East

St. Modwen has completed the latest stage of its £100m regeneration of Wythenshawe town centre with the opening of the 15,000 sq ft Haletop East retail and office development in Rowlands Way.

With seven of the nine retail units already let to a range of operators including entertainments retailer Gamezone, Manchester Credit Union and school uniform retailer Debonair, the development will open with over a third of the new development already occupied once internal fit out is completed in the coming days.

The two-storey Haletop East development consists of 8,500 sq ft of retail space across nine units on the ground floors and two 6,500 sq ft sq ft flexible office suites on the first floors.

Steven Knowles, St Modwen director, said: "We are sure the office suites will prove to be a popular choice, and already have 50% of them under offer, as they benefit from car parking in the town centre and easy access to the motorway network."

Johnson Fellows and Colliers CRE acted for St Modwen.
