St Modwen opens account with £1m sale at Stonebridge

St Modwen has sold its first unit at the speculatively built Stonebridge Park industrial scheme on the East Lancashire Road in North Liverpool.

Croxteth-based training and services provider Neighbourhood Services Company has acquired a 16,000 sq ft warehouse for in excess of £1m.

The 57,500 sq ft first phase of the park was completed at the end of last year and comprises four industrial units.

Michael Hosie, development manager, St Modwen North West, said: "The fact we can attract this level of interest so quickly is a clear indicator of the standard of our offering at Stonebridge Park. We have every confidence that the three remaining units at the flagship development will quickly attract new businesses and establish the area as a major centre of employment."

The 30-acre site was prepared for development by Liverpool Vision with extensive landscaping around the River Alt. St Modwen's buildings achieved BREEAM 'very good' for sustainability.

Matthews & Goodman and King Sturge acted for St Modwen.
