Splash reports new commercial deals
Developer Urban Splash has announced new tenants have been secured in Liverpool and Manchester, taking the total value of space let this year to more than 80,000 sq ft.
Leisure operator 8th Leisure Entertainment has taken a 5,500 sq ft unit at Old Haymarket in Liverpool which will soon be launched as a new café and piano bar.
In Manchester, textile company Meddax, trading as Biddle Sawyer Silks, has taken a 2,164 sq ft unit at the Albert Mill scheme in Castlefield.
Tro Manoukian from Biddle Sawyer said: "Albert Mill is a beautiful building. As a former textiles mill there was an obvious synergy with our business. That, coupled with a great location means that it's the perfect place for us.
Elsewhere in Splash's portfolio, web design company InVerterbrates, computer game maker, Connected Thought, and video production firm Tomfoolery Pictures have all moved into units on Slater Street in Liverpool.
Details of the rental agreements were not disclosed.
