Spencer signs G4S at Knowsley

Spencer Holdings has agreed an 8,100 sq ft office letting with security company G4S at the refurbished Nexus scheme in Knowsley Business Park.

G4S signed a six-year deal at £10/sq ft. The global group joins P&H Snacks, Fleet Removals and Nurock at Nexus. The scheme offers up to 48,000 sq ft of industrial space and 40,000 sq ft of offices.

Jim Spencer, chairman of Spencer Holdings, said: "We are delighted to have signed G4S, it provides a real boost to the Nexus development, showing that the quality of the refurbishment we have undertaken and the transformation that has occurred at Nexus House is attracting such large scale occupiers."

Richard Morris, managing director or G4S Electronic Monitoring, added: "The new offices at Nexus are a fantastic addition to G4S Electronic Monitoring. The high spec offices and state of the art technology which are conveniently located near to the motorway network will enable us to continue to grow the business."

Both parties represented themselves in the deal.
