Speculative phase planned at Crewe’s Orion Park

Graftongate and Highcross have submitted two planning applications to build new industrial units on Orion Park in Crewe.

The joint venture pair will speculatively build four units in two blocks totalling 40,000 sq ft – two are already under offer – if planning permission is granted.

Another application covers two units, one of 35,000 sq ft and another 50,000 sq ft, which may be held back for pre-let design-and-build deals.

Orion Park is home to a 150,000 sq ft Bentley Motors warehouse, making up phase one.

Matthew Pochin at Lamont is advising Graftongate and Highcross.
