Speakers announced for Northern Transport Summit
Senior figures from Network Rail, Department for Transport, Peel Ports, Manchester Airports Group, Virgin Trains, Manchester City Council, Liverpool City Council and Cheshire East Council are among those confirmed to speak at a day-long conference hosted by Transport for the North and Place North West.
The speaker line-up includes Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at Department for Transport, Andrew Jones MP; leader of Manchester City Council, Sir Richard Leese; and chief executive of Transport for the North, David Brown.
Northern Transport Summit: Rail, Road, Air + Ports, sponsored by Remarkable Group and Lancashire Enterprise Partnership, will take place on Monday 26 June at The Midland in Manchester city centre.
The summit will feature presentations and in-depth discussions exploring major transport and infrastructure projects at the heart of the Northern Powerhouse agenda.
