Southdale expands to 4,000 sq ft at Genesis

Construction and development specialist Southdale is doubling the size of its North West office for the second time – less than three years after opening its first base in the region.

Southdale moved into its first office in the region, 1,000 sq ft of space in Birchwood, Warrington, in November 2010, with only six staff based there.

Having already increased to 2,000 sq ft of space in April 2011, Southdale is now moving into new offices twice that size again.

The switch, which will see it remain in Birchwood's Genesis Centre, will accommodate its current 41-strong North West team and allow for future growth.

The company hopes to achieve in excess of £30m turnover in the North West in the current financial year.

Stuart Allison, Southdale's regional director for the North West, said: "Our North West business has gone from strength to strength since arriving as a small team at the end of 2011.

"With around 4,000 sq ft of space we can not only accommodate those who have joined us in the two years since our last move, but also give us room to continue growing.

"As we work towards an estimated turnover in excess of £30m this year, working for many of the region's top landlords, we anticipate our increased visibility in the North West will stand us in good stead for further expansion in the future."
