Smith & Sons instructed on former Wirral Globe office

Merseyside Estates has appointed the property consultants to let a ground floor office suite at Haymarket Court in Birkenhead, Wirral.

The 2,200 sq ft office was previously occupied by local newspaper Wirral Globe, which has downsized to a smaller office within the development.

Jason Wadeson, from Smith & Sons, said: "The standard and quality of this building, coupled with its position at the heart of Birkenhead centre, make Haymarket Court a sound commercial move for a broad range of businesses."

Haymarket Court consists of 13,836 sq ft and is located on Hinson Street adjacent to the Birkenhead Queensway Tunnel.

The property was constructed in 2004 by Chapelgate before the developer sold the building to Merseyside Estates for an undisclosed sum.

MD Insurance is the other tenant based at Haymarket Court.
