Smith & Sons details September auction

A mix of residential refurbishment opportunities and commercial investments are among 24 lots up for sale in Merseyside at the latest Smith & Sons auction, due to take place on 23 September.

Properties include a double-fronted detached cottage situated off The Parade in Parkgate and a sandstone cottage in the centre of Oxton Village with its own parking, at a guide of £140,000 to £160,000.

A period building in Rock Lane East with potential either to continue as a family home or conversion to apartments, is being offered at £295,000 to £330,000.

Two semi-detached properties in Devonshire Park could be refurbished as either as a single dwelling or as flats.

There are several refurbishment opportunities including a four-bedroom house in Princes Boulevard in Higher Bebington, a two-bedroom cottage off New Chester Road in Bromborough, a three-bedroom semi-detached house in Esher Close and a former dairy which now comprises a three/four-bedroom detached house in New Brighton.

A commercial investment in Acre Lane, Bromborough, made up of two retail units, six modern apartments and a workshop with stores is for sale for around £500,000, with a yield of 13% on that guide price.

The auction will be held at 2pm on 23 September at the Village Hotel in Brombrough, Wirral.
