Shopping centre advertising firm rebrands

Wilmslow-based Promotion Space Group, which has the rights to commercialise non-core space within shopping centres, has rebranded as the Brandspace Group.

The group will be split into three divisions:

Brandspace Experiential: sampling campaigns, roadshows, exhibitions, publicity stunts in malls, shopping centres, airports and rail stations

Brandspace Poster: selling display space in retailers' changing rooms, mall-floor

Brandspace Retail: Pop-up shops, retail merchandising units, kiosks

Brandspace has the exclusive rights to sell promotional space in 3,000 retail, leisure and transport environments across the UK. This includes contracts with Land Securities, Capital Shopping Centres and venues such as Cardiff St David's Dewi Sant, Lakeside and MetroCentre and an additional 150 shopping malls.

Steve Hughes, chief executive of the Brandspace Group, said: "Through this more integrated structure we anticipate unlocking increased brand spend as we continue to deliver specifically targeted audiences for brand activity through the UK's busiest and most prestigious public environments."
