National contractor Shepherd Construction has added two recruits to its business development team for the west division based in Manchester.
Lisa Bowden has been appointed as business development manager for the North West, operating from the Manchester office, while Andrew Dixon joins as work winning manager.
Bowden joins from Base, the joint venture between Artisan and Barratt Homes, where she was community regeneration and operations manager. She also spent 11 years as project manager for Bovis Lend Lease where she worked on the £280m Trafford Centre and the £400m Manchester Joint Hospitals Project.
Dixon joins from privately owned construction company Osborne where he was responsible for the bid and project management for several healthcare schemes.
Peter Millett, managing director for Shepherd Construction's west division, said both were "highly capable and skilled managers".
Shepherd Construction's project portfolio across the North West includes two student accommodation schemes in Manchester and the £50m redevelopment of Liverpool's Central Library.
Shepherd's west division office is on Southmoor Road between Altrincham and Wythenshawe.
