Senior planner joins WYG

WYG has made a new appointment to its town planning team, hiring Jake Crompton from Indigo as senior planner.

Crompton has over three years’ planning experience working on complex residential and commercial projects.

He will largely work on residential projects on behalf of housebuilders and landowners, as well as for public body clients including the NHS and the Homes & Communities Agency.

Paul Shuker, head of WYG’s planning team in Manchester, said: “Jake is another very talented addition to our team. He starts with us at a particularly exciting time as WYG was recently shortlisted for the Royal Town Planning Institute’s planning consultancy of the year award. We are delighted that he has joined us.”
