Senate names new managing director

Kiera Vogel is taking on the position at the Liverpool-based M&E company in preparation for director Colin Crosby’s retirement in 2023.

Vogel is also the co-owner of Senate Group, which has 74 employees. Previously she was the company’s operations director.

As managing director, Vogel will be involved in developing Senate’s workforce and establishing new offices.

“September marks an important phase for the business, which will see our entire workforce go through additional training and development which is above and beyond the needs of the business,” Vogel said. “We all know how important mental health first aid, enhanced health and safety and ED&I is, our team will be benefitting from much more than their required standard training and in many circumstances, we are leading the way within the sector.”

Senate has worked on a variety of projects, including several within the education, healthcare, hotel and leisure, retail and commercial, heritage and housing sectors. Past projects for Senate include Formby High School, Liverpool John Moores University Business School and the Playhouse Theatre.

Senate is shortlisted in the best employer category at the LGBTQ+ business awards.
