Manchester-based Cushman & Wakefield has been instructed by ladies fashion retailer Select to assist in its UK expansion.
Select currently has 130 stores in the UK. The firm plans to open 200 more stores in prime retail locations over the next five years.
Cushman & Wakefield is working with Select to produce a bespoke list of property requirements to help acquire suitable units ranging from 2,500 sq ft to 4,000 sq ft over single trading floors.
James Merrett, partner in Cushman & Wakefield's retail team, said: "Select has an ambitious plan to expand and is looking to open around 40 stores a year over the next five years. By understanding Select's core business and analysing its existing customer base, we are able to refine our search criteria to ensure we secure quality sites."
