Segro signs haulage firm to Heywood
Machinery removal and heavy haulage specialist D Turner & Sons has taken Unit M5A at Heywood Distribution Park in Rochdale.
D Turner & Sons is occupying 12,055 sq ft after agreeing on a five year lease with Segro.
The company has relocated from nearby Roeacre Business Park to Heywood Distribution Park, to provide more space for the business, following its recent expansion.
Jane Leedham, leasing manager at Segro, said: "We pride ourselves on being able to meet a wide spectrum of requirements at the Park and the letting to D Turner and Sons was no exception, with speed being of paramount importance to the company. D Turner & Sons now joins national and international occupiers at the Park, including Argos, Eddie Stobart and Romac."
Savills advised Heywood Distribution Park on the deal. Savills and Jones Lang LaSalle are joint agents at Heywood Distribution Park.
Heywood Distributon Park is in Heywood, not Rochdale.

@ In Lancashire, unless your looking at a map from 1973 you are mistaken. Heywood has been part of the metropolitan Borough of Rochdale since 1st April 1974, it is therefore in Rochdale.
