See you at Place Party

Everyone at Place North West looks forward to welcoming you to Place Party this evening for the year’s most exciting gathering of the property community.

More than 700 people are due to don their glad rags and head down to The Principal for this evening’s party. Tonight marks the fourth time Place has held its annual bash since 200 people gathered at Manchester Hall in 2015, switching to The Principal the following year to accommodate triple the number of guests.

ISG is the headline sponsor of Place Party 2018. The drinks reception sponsor is Baker Mallet. The event sponsors are Curtins, GIA, Euan Kellie Property Solutions and Kuits.

Paul Unger, publisher of Place North West, said: “The region’s property professionals and their guests will join us at the Principal for a night of fun and networking. Live music, excellent food and drink, the fewest formalities possible, no dress code, awards or big speeches. The tone of the event, set by the members of the community that urged Place to create Place Party as a cool alternative to the traditional awards dinner, remains unchanged. Maximise the fun and the time for talking and let people be themselves.”

Place North West has enjoyed a 55% rise in readership so far in 2018 compared to the same period in 2019, recording in excess of 110,000 visitors to the website in one month at the peak, according to Google Analytics.

During the summer, the business relocated from the Royal Exchange in Manchester, having outgrown its office after doubling headcount from four to eight staff in the past year, and moved two streets away to Parsonage Chambers, owned by Grade A Alternative. Place North West was advised by Mills & Reeve and Edwards & Co.

The company continues to recruit as part of its investment plan for the website and new events into 2019, keeping pace with the strong growth shown by the North West built environment sectors.

Dino Moutsopoulos, commercial director, added: “In an extremely busy market, with diverse and growing demands on your budget, can you afford not to be planning in advance and working with the best when it comes to market intelligence and profile-raising? We hope our experience and reach will help even more companies in 2019.”

Details of Place North West events for the rest of 2018 and all of 2019, including Place Party 2019 if you missed out on tonight, can be found on the Place Events section of the website.

We look forward to seeing many of you tonight!
