Seddon promotes two to board

Bolton-based Seddon Construction has appointed Nicola Hodkinson and Carl Wilde to the company's board of directors.

Hodkinson joined Seddon in 1999 and is the company's head of customer care and training. On the board she will be responsible for corporate social responsibility, people development and information technology.

Wilde has worked at Seddon for 14 years and is head of construction, and leads on health and safety, quality, labour and planning.

Jonathan Seddon, managing director, said: "Nicola and Carl have been key players in the company's development and I am delighted to welcome them to the board where their skills and experience will see them continue to make a strong contribution to our continuing business success."

Seddon Construction, part of the family-owned Seddon Group, has a turnover of more than £150m and employs 1,000 people.
