Seddon hires from ADT

Construction company Seddon has appointed Liz Everett from ADT Workplace as client development manager.

Everett was new business coordinator at ADT, and has worked in similar roles for Morris & Spottiswood and Taylor Woodrow Construction.

Everett will be based in the Bolton office working alongside former Taylor Woodrow colleague Phil Burgess, who joined Seddon as head of business development and marketing in November.

Seddon, which has offices in the North West, Midlands and South West, said it plans to further increase its presence in the commercial market following the restructuring of the group in August 2013.

The company has secured a number of contract wins recently including the design and build of Muse Developments' £10m City Place office scheme in Chester.

Jonathan Seddon, managing director of Seddon, said: "Liz has some great connections in the commercial market, an area the business is looking to strengthen and grow.

"The group has many strings to its bow and with a strong pre-con team we can drive value for clients in key sectors such as industrial and offices."
