SCP appoints director
Manchester-based transport consultants Singleton Clamp & Partners has promoted Jim Budd to the role director.
He joined SCP in 1999 working as a senior transport planner, then principal transport planner and associate director, prior to his new role.
Budd headed up the technical department focusing on guiding private sector developers through all aspects of the highways development control process.
In his new role, Budd will focus specifically on business development.
SCP, founded in 1991, has experience in all types of development and provides advice in areas of highway design, traffic engineering and transport planning throughout the UK.
Clients of SCP includes Lidl, BAe Systems, Tesco and Cine UK, Asda, Lancashire County Council, Barratt Homes, Russell Homes and Gladedale.
David Roberts, director of SCP, said: "Jim is an ambitious individual and since joining SCP has played a major role within the technical department focusing on site evaluation and planning. I am confident that as a director he will have a significant impact. Jim has a wealth of knowledge and we are delighted that he has accepted this new position."
