Scott Wilson in takeover talks

Design and engineering group Scott Wilson, which has five North West offices, said it has received approaches about a possible takeover of the company.
The board issued a statement to the London Stock Exchange after the share price rose suddenly. The takeover talks may not lead to a deal, the statement said.
The global company employs 6,000 people in 80 offices including Cumbria, Crewe, Liverpool, Manchester and Warrington.
Local clients include Peel Group and NHS North West.
