Savills strengthens Manchester leisure team

Real estate advisor Savills has added to its Manchester-based licensed leisure team with the relocation of director Tony Hunter from the firm’s Southampton office.

Hunter has worked at Savills for more than 11 years, advising clients on matters related to pubs, hotels, restaurants and nightclubs across the UK. He joins director Tom Cunningham and surveyor Pete Scholes in Manchester, with plans for further recruitment in 2017.

Kevin Marsh, head of licensed leisure at Savills, said: “Tony combines in-depth knowledge of the sector with extensive contacts in his native North West. He will be an excellent addition to our Manchester-based team as we look to expand further into the region’s thriving licensed leisure market.”

Hunter added: “It is great to be back on home turf and I am very pleased to be joining the Manchester team at such a busy time for the North West’s licensed leisure sector.”
