Savills instructed on Express Building

A&A Investments has appointed the international real estate advisor as joint letting agent on Express Building in Great Ancoats Street, Manchester city centre.

The Grade 2-listed building was built in the mid 1930's and was the former headquarters of Express Newspapers.

Savills' building consultancy team has since refurbished the property to provide 75,599 sq ft of office space over seven floors, along with 177 car parking spaces.

James Evans, director at Savills, said: "Express Building is a landmark building that occupies a prime position within Manchester's renowned Northern Quarter. This, combined with the newly refurbished offices that offer high quality, modern and flexible space, makes it a very appealing opportunity for prospective tenants."

Quoting rents at Express Building start at £13.75/sq ft.

Savills will act jointly with Edwards & Co.
