Savills appoints operations director

Real estate advisor Savills has appointed Russell Hall as operations director within its national property management business.

Hall, who will be based at the company’s Manchester office at Belvedere on Booth Street, will oversee operations across the entire Savills managed portfolio.

He joins from DTZ and brings experience in auditing, policy and procedure development, procurement, training and day-to-day property management.

Nick Herward, national head of management at Savills, said: “The role of operations director within our property management business has been refined and has now become almost unique within the management industry. Russell has a wealth of expertise across a variety of areas in the management sector and will be a great asset to the company.”

Hall added: “Savills has a strong reputation within property management and a rapidly expanding retail portfolio. I am very much looking forward to establishing and developing the role within the company.”
