Sanderson Weatherall markets housing portfolios

Administrators Ernst & Young have appointed agents Sanderson Weatherall to dispose of several residential portfolios spread across the North West.

Roy Tubman, partner in the Manchester office of Sanderson Weatherall, said the majority of the properties were let on Assured Shorthold Tenancies.

Mostly terraced homes, the 80 houses are located in Blackburn, Accrington, Rawtenstall, Ramsbottom, Bacup, St Helens, Platt Bridge, Wigan, Ashton-in-Makerfield, Rochdale, Bolton, Bury, Salford and Manchester.

Forty three were owned by Compustar and have a guide price of £2.5m; eleven by Avanti Properties with a guide price of £875,000 and 27 by Berrymount Developments with a guide price of £1.5m.

A further 18 properties in Stockton-on-Tees on Teesside with a guide price of £1.3m owned by Decaton, also in administration, are being sold by Sanderson Weatherall on the instruction of the administrators.

Tubman said the large number of homes involved – a total of 99 – and their wide geographical spread meant they were available either as a single lot or as six separate lots.

The properties are being offered for sale by private treaty and interested parties should log onto www.sandersonweatherall.com and use WebLink 4219 to access comprehensive information
