Salford Uni estates jobs fair next week

Salford University is holding an open day to promote numerous vacancies in its restructured estates and property services division.
The department already employs 350 people who take care of all in-house estates and facilities management work, capital development, property maintenance as well as security, caretaking, cleaning and landscaping.
The vacancies currently on the books at Salford University include:
- University engineer
- University surveyor
- Assistant surveyor
- Estate surveyor
- Head of capital projects
- Head of minor works
- Project manager
- Assistant project manager
- Building surveyor
- CAD technician
- Clerk of works
- Electrical design engineer
- Mechanical design engineer
- Space planner
The reorganisation of the estates department was triggered by the £575m masterplan for refreshing its campuses over the coming years with a mixture of new buildings and refurbishment of existing buildings. The consultants and contractors for the £150m first phase are currently being appointed.
