Salehs expands property team

Manchester-based Salehs Solicitors has expanded its residential and commercial property team with the appointment of Jackie Mottershead from Hills Solicitors as a conveyancer.

Mottershead will undertake sales, purchase and re-mortgage work for owner occupier and investor clients. She brings 18 years' experience to the firm, having previously worked for a property developer before joining a legal practice.

Meanwhile, solicitor Jay Lafinhan has also been promoted within the property team, to have a greater focus on secured lending work to include commercial properties. He joined the firm in 2005 and specialises in short-term development loans and bridging finance.

Salehs now has eight lawyers in its residential and commercial property team, and says that it has further recruitment planned in a variety of roles to meet growth in 2014.

Richard Saleh, managing partner, said: "With the increasing influx of commercial property transactions we are widening the opportunities for progression and development within the Firm. We continue to look for new talent and welcome Jackie who adds strength, knowledge and expertise to the property team."
