Ryanair to establish Manchester hub
Ryanair announced on Tuesday it would open its 45th base at Manchester in October 2011 initially with two aircraft and 17 routes, growing to four aircraft and 26 routes by summer 2012.
The carrier will deliver up to 2m passengers a year, supporting 2,000 jobs, with up to 260 weekly flights.
Ryanair's 26 Manchester routes go on sale on Wednesday.
