RW Joinery reports trio of wins in January

Stockport-based independent contractor, RW Joinery, said it won £750,000 of new contracts since the start of the year.

Work won includes Manchester College's Fielden Campus in Didsbury for Wates and The Mall in Blackburn for Vinci Construction UK amongst others. RW Joinery, which employs 50 people, will manufacture, supply and fit door sets, wall and ceiling panelling and partitioning as well as fire and acoustic rated glazed screens.

Chris Robinson, managing director at RW Joinery, said: "These project appointments have got us off to a great start in 2010 and we are confident that our pipeline of opportunities will see the business grow after the challenges of last year.

"Our work supplying door sets for several of the north's Building Schools for the Future programmes has helped us to raise our profile as a leading joinery contractor, both here in the region and beyond."
