Rumford’s Unity apartments break £1m barrier

Rumford Investments has sold all six of its penthouse apartments at Liverpool city centre's Unity building in deals worth £6m.

The two largest penthouses which top the building have been sold to a trust fund and a local property developer for around £1.5m each, while four other penthouse suites have been sold for between £800,000 and £900,000.

Situated on the 25th, 26th and 27th floors of the Unity, the 3,300 sq ft, three-storey apartments boast three bedrooms and four bathrooms.

The residential apartments have been more successful than the offices next door which have been slow to let since completion in December 2006.

King Sturge is residential sales agent.
