RPS buys rival firm in Altrincham

Altrincham-based commercial property surveyors Regional Property Solutions has acquired the business and client base of Charles Hadfield & Co.

Charles Murray, managing director of RPS, said: "We had been seeking to expand the commercial property management side of the business for a while and had already invested heavily in new management software and systems. The acquisition and assimilation of Charles Hadfield & Co has proved to be a perfect fit and has strengthened our position going forward."

Charles Hadfield, who is now full time with RPS, added: "I was conscious that the time was right to consolidate my niche management practice into a larger company and one that was controlled by someone with the same business principles and ideals. I have known Charles for over 20 years and was confident that it would be an excellent marriage."
