Royston joins WSP building services team

Steve Royston has relocated from the consultant’s Middle East office to take up a role as a technical director in its building services division, covering Liverpool and Manchester.

Royston has been given the brief of growing the building services division in the North, and will work with head of regions for building services Andy Temple in his new role.

Currently, he is based in WSP Manchester office at No8 First Street, and will also cover the consultant’s Liverpool office. His remit covers the whole of the North, including the Leeds office and the North East.

At WSP, he has previously helped to deliver projects in Qatar and the UAE in sectors including hospitality, retail, sports, and finance. Prior to joining the consultant, he worked in BuroHappold’s Manchester office as a director of building services.

Temple said: “I’m very pleased that Steve has joined our Northern buildings and property team which will further strengthen our building services offering across the North adding additional leadership, technical excellence and specialist knowledge.

“As one of the largest consultancies in the North we plan to capitalise on our recent successes and I am sure Steve will play a significant key role in achieving our business aims in the region.”
