Royals letting for Standard Life

Computer data storage company EMC has agreed a 10-year lease on 9,000 sq ft at Standard Life's the Royals in Sharston, South Manchester.

The Royals provides around 55,000 sq ft of high quality office accommodation. The building is now 71% let and is home to Altus Edwin Hill, the Danwood Group and Wates Construction.

Cushman & Wakefield acted on behalf of Standard Life, with JLL as joint letting agents. CBRE acted on behalf of EMC.

EMC will be relocating from Enterprise Point, also in Sharston.

Jonathan Baucher, head of office agency at Cushman & Wakefield: "The office market in the North West is experiencing an upturn in activity and we are confident the building will be fully let in the near future given the level of existing interest we have in the remainder."
