Royal Court work key to Speke firm’s growth spurt

Liverpool-based M&E consultancy Steven A Hunt & Associates has reported a 20% increase in turnover following a raft of project wins.

The firm recorded sales of £1.2m for 2016, a year in which it won work in a variety of sectors, including Liverpool’s Royal Court theatre, Mixenden Health Centre, Mowgli Street Food’s expansion into Leeds and an area for detection dogs at Stansted Airport.

With the second part of the Royal Court’s restoration delivered, the Speke business has since been appointed to work with architect Alfred Hall Monaghan Morrison on the third and final stage, which is due to be completed in August.

Hunt said: “We have had a really steady period of growth, and after that huge 20% lift in 2016, we naturally thought that it would balance off, however we are very pleased to see consistency in the growth.

“Taking part in Liverpool’s MIPIM campaign was part of the strategy for 2017, which helped us seal the deal on a 135-apartment extra care facility for Helena Housing.”
