Roundhouse consent in Buckshaw
Lancashire-based developer, Roundhouse Properties, and construction firm JWS Developments, have secured planning for a 2.5-acre commercial project in Chorley.
The £3m scheme will deliver 35 business units, specifically for small businesses, offering flexible office and industrial space from 630 sq ft to 2,130 sq ft.
Chorley Council approved the scheme which is next to a Tesco superstore and Matrix Industrial Park. The new development will be called Momentum Business Centre@Buckshaw.
Jeremy Lefton, director of Roundhouse Properties, said: "All our developments focus on two themes – flexibility and affordability. This approach has proved to be successful as we've found that providing tenants with flexible and affordable space gives them the ability to grow and succeed.
"Momentum Business Centre@Buckshaw operates on this successful model. We'll also be adding another dimension by offering the 35 units through a lease, purchase or combination offering lease purchase – again catering for a small business' needs."
Phase one of the site will be completed in spring 2013. David Taylor from Partington Associates advised on the planning process.
The properties will be directly marketed by Roundhouse Properties supported by Nick Kos from Bailey Deakin & Hamiltons who is the sole letting agent for the development.
