Roger Hannah recruits director from Savills

Laura Mackay is the new director and head of development consultancy within Roger Hannah’s land and development department.

Mackay was previously the associate director of development at Savills’ Manchester office.

She began her new role with the Manchester-based property consultancy at the end of August.

Mackay is well versed in the development market and has advised major housebuilders, property companies, landowners and more.

“I’m delighted to be joining Roger Hannah to grow the already well-established development team,” Mackay said. “I look forward to further strengthening the service offering through the provision of specialist development consultancy advice for the benefit of our clients.”

Roger Hannah has spent the past two years growing its development department, which can advise on land sales, build-to-rent investment and strategic development.

“We are excited to have someone of Laura’s calibre joining the business to further galvanise our position as a key player in the development market,” said Simon Cook, managing director of Roger Hannah.

“We are continuing to proactively increase the breadth of our business services through the recruitment of skilled professionals in strategic growth areas,” he said. “Many clients have an increasing need for bespoke development consultancy advice, and we are thrilled that Laura has joined the business to bolster and expand this side of the business.”
