Rockpark gets go-ahead for Ashton apartments

Developer Rockpark has been granted planning consent for 100 apartments and nine shops on Stamford Street in Ashton-under-Lyne, Tameside.

The Philip Millson Architecture-designed scheme will retain the façade of the former Hudson Bay nightclub and demolish adjacent buildings to be replaced by the six-storey block with underground parking.

Rockpark and Philip Millson were previously responsible for the restoration of the Oddfellows Hall on Stamford Street.
