Roberts leaves Derwent Estates

Ben Roberts has left his position as managing director of Derwent Estates after less than a year. Derwent said Roberts will continue to provide consultancy advice to the company in the short term after which he will be pursuing other property investment interests.

Roberts joined the late Albert Gubay’s property empire in summer 2016 from Cushman & Wakefield, where he had been head of the Manchester office prior to the takeover by DTZ.

David Lyons, chief executive of Derwent Holdings commented: “We appreciate Ben’s commitment since joining us. We wish him well in returning to his property investment roots.”

Roberts said he was considering a number of options including setting up his own consultancy.
