Robert Shaw memorial service

Robert Shaw, founder of Guest Shaw and Castlewood Developments, has died at the age of 61 after losing his battle with motor neurone disease.

A memorial service will be held at 11am on Thursday 6 May at St Philips and St James Church, Alderley Edge.

Shaw was a well-known figure and one of the founding partners of Guest Shaw. The practice was sold to Chesterton where Shaw became a director.

He later headed the Manchester office of Knight Frank before setting up his own property company Castlewood Developments, based in Alderley Edge.

With Guest Shaw, he was central to the birth of Salford Quays on the former Salford Docks in the 1980s as a lead adviser on the commercial development.

He is survived by his wife Jean and three children.

Reading this has come as quite a shock, I have known Roberts family for most of my life, but sadly since the death of his father we have lost contact.
Robert was one of the best, and in my heart I shall miss him.
God bless where ever you are.

ALS is a cruel disease. My mother who had been diagnosed with Lou Gehrig’s disease for 3 years at the age of 82 had all her symptoms reversed with Ayurveda medicine from natural herbs centre after undergoing their ALS/MND Ayurvedic protocol, she’s now able to comprehend what is seen and she no longer needs the feeding tube to feed,. God Bless all ALS disease Caregivers. Stay Strong, take small moments throughout the day to thank yourself, to love your self, and pray to whatever faith, star, spiritual force you believe in and ask for strength, their website is naturalherbscentre She’s getting active again since starting this treatment program…
