RLB makes senior Deloitte hire

David Litherland is the latest of five departures from Deloitte Real Estate to be announced in the past two days, joining Rider Levett Bucknall as a partner to jointly head up its cost management team.
Litherland will lead RLB Manchester’s cost management team with existing partner Ilyas Patel.
He has more than 38 years’ experience in the construction industry covering both public and private capital investments. During his career, he has worked as a director at Hargreaves Jones and Arcadis.
Yesterday, GVA announced that four people were joining the company from Deloitte Real Estate’s Manchester office, to establish a project consultancy and management team headed up by former Deloitte partner Barry Crichton.
I suppose it was inevitable as he was part of the AYH crew- that eventually that merged with ECH/Arcadis – who have all now migrated to RLB. Imagine its all corporate now – not like the good old days in AYH @ Portland Tower doing the splits and having a laugh. #goodolddays
