Rix Motor Company takes 16,500 sq ft in Warrington

Acting for Hermes Investment Management, Davies Harrison has let a 16,500 sq ft unit at Eagle Business Park in Warrington to car dealership Rix Motor Company.

Taking a 10-year lease at £6.50/sq ft, the car dealer is based locally and will use the unit at Eagle Park as additional accommodation alongside its existing base on Hawleys Lane, also in Warrington.

The deal leaves one unit remaining at Eagle Park, the 14,000 sq ft Unit 9, which has undergone a recent refurbishment by Hermes and also has a quoting rent of £6.50/sq ft.

Rick Davies of Davies Harrison said: “This unit had been refurbished to a high standard and as Warrington is currently experiencing a real shortage of good quality space, we had strong of interest in the building – especially from local occupiers.”

JLL is the joint letting agent at Eagle Park, while Rix Motor Company was unrepresented.
