Around 450 delegates have booked to attend next week's British Council of Shopping Centres management conference in Liverpool.

The national gathering of shopping centre and retail property managers from across the UK and Ireland will gather at Arena and Covention Centre Liverpool from Monday to Wednesday.

Journalist and TV presenter, Lucy Alexander, who is well known in the South East as the former face of ITV's London Tonight, will facilitate the conference.

Local representatives will be attending from Liverpool ONE, Clayton Square Shopping Centre and Liverpool John Moores University. Leader of the City Council, Warren Bradley, will open the conference sessions on Tuesday 3 March.

BCSC chief Eexecutive Michael Green comments: "We are delighted to be back in Liverpool, following our successful annual Conference & Showcase in November. The city has undergone a truly impressive transformation and is an inspiring place for our delegates to gather."

Core sponsors include DTZ, Lunson Mitchenall, British Land, Capital Shopping Centres, CBRE, Cushman & Wakefield, Land Securities, The Mall and Workman Retail.
