Residential partner sought by Northern Trust

Northern Trust has been granted planning permission to build 70 homes with a significant proportion of social affordable housing at Sagar House in Eccleston, Chorley.

The developer, also based in Chorley, revised an earlier application to include more social affordable units and a larger open space suitable for newt habitat.

A spokesman for Northern Trust said: "We will now look to enter into negotiations with prospective developers."
