Rendall & Rittner takes two floors at 340 Deansgate

The residential management company has agreed a deal with Schroders to take nearly 11,000 sq ft at the office in Manchester.

Schroders bought the six-storey, 26,500 sq ft building opposite the Beetham Tower in November 2017 for £8.4m.

The building is now fully let following the deal with Rendall & Rittner, which has taken a 10-year lease on the ground and first floors. Begbies Traynor currently occupies the remaining 16,000 sq ft on a lease until 2027.

Tom Newman, fund manager at Schroders, said: “It’s encouraging to see that the extensive refurbishment recently undertaken at 340 Deansgate has attracted a top-tier occupier like Rendall & Rittner.

“We focused on creating a high-quality ground reception area and floor spaces to meet the needs of businesses and make 340 Deansgate one of the most desirable office spaces in the city. Rendall & Rittner is a nationally-recognised brand with a strong legacy, and we wish them every success in the building.”

Sixteen Real Estate advised Schroders on the deal; Sixteen is the retained agent for the building alongside JLL.
