Regus signs at Bark Street
Gordon Moon Properties has completed its first deal at the 59,000 sq ft office building in Bolton it finished last year.
Serviced office operator Regus has taken two floors at the top of the building, totalling 11,871 sq ft on a 10-year lease. The building is the first Grade A office space in the town for many years.
Letting agent John Ogden, head of office agency for the north at CB Richard Ellis, said: "This letting is fantastic news for Bolton and illustrates the town's ability to attract an internationally renowned company that sees great potential in the area and has the ability to attract other high profile businesses to the building and Bolton as a whole. 120 Bark Street is setting a new benchmark within the town in terms of quality office accommodation and we're confident that it will attract further tenants over the coming months.
"Regional town centres have seen take-up dramatically reduce over the past two years due to the downturn in the economy so this letting is great news for Bolton as Regus will act as incubator for local, national and international businesses looking to grow in the North West."
Nigel Moon, managing director at landlord Gordon Moon Properties, added: "We are delighted that Regus has taken space in our 120 Bark Street office development – the only new Grade A office building in Bolton town centre. We would like to thank everybody concerned for bringing this to a speedy conclusion."
CBRE acted as joint agent alongside Lamb & Swift. Cobbetts acted on behalf of the landlord and provided advice along with Royal Bank of Scotland.
