The REIT has secured lettings in Warrington and Old Trafford totalling more than 16,000 sq ft, including at Oakland House, an office it purchased in 2016 as part of a wider portfolio trade.
At Oakland House in Old Trafford, audio branding agency Please Hold has expanded to take an additional 5,450 sq ft on a 10-year lease.
The company, which provides voiceovers and soundtracks for companies including Coca-Cola, Samsung, Adidas, and Audi, also has offices in Chicago, New York, Toronto, and Singapore.
Other recent deals at Oakland House include law firm Optimal Solutions, which relocated 70 staff into half of the third floor in January this year.
Avison Young and Cushman & Wakefield are the joint letting agents; the Regional REIT bought the 163,000 sq ft building as part of a £37.5m portfolio deal from LaSalle Investment Management in January 2016.
In Warrington, the REIT has also signed up a tenant on a 10-year lease for the 10,500 sq ft Birkdale House, where BE Group is the agent, while in Preston, the Alzheimers Society has taken a ground floor unit at Albert Edward House totalling just under 2,000 sq ft.
Stephen Inglis, chief executive of Regional REIT’s asset manager London & Scottish Property Investment Management, said: “These significant lettings demonstrate the continued demand across the UK for high quality regional office assets. Our asset base continues to attract considerable interest from leading corporate tenants as we continue to build and diversify our existing portfolio with a considerable pipeline of attractive opportunities for our asset management team to maximise unit valuations.”
