Economics consultancy, Regeneris, said it is in the process of recruiting a new team of economists and launching into international markets.
The company employs 16 staff in Manchester and the same in London and plans to take the headcount to 20 at each within two years.
Sofie Eike, pictured, has joined the team from London-based accountancy firm, Sakura, as marketing and communications manager to help deliver the growth strategy.
Darren Wisher, managing director said: “We are delighted to bring Sofie on board. Sofie will help increase the presence and profile of Regeneris as part of our ambitious growth plans. This is a really exciting time for Regeneris as we expand our network of public and private sector clients, particularly within the areas of property, urban regeneration, arts and culture and skills and labour market. We are currently in the process of adding a group of new economic consultants to our teams in London and Manchester and are also breaking into international markets.”
Four new research consultants are due to join in September, two in Manchester and two in London. Internationally, Regeneris has teamed up with a business development partner in the Baltics to actively pursue a number of opportunities in both Latvia and Lithuania. Many of these opportunities are tied to the firm’s knowledge of designing and evaluating European Structural Fund programmes and city competitiveness. Regeneris recently completed two pieces of work for Falkland Islands-based clients in the oil and gas sectors.
Eike started her career in law before moving into marketing where she worked for two private equity backed Danish fashion brands before specialising in professional services marketing working in the fields of law and financial services.
She will work across both the London and Manchester offices and on the overall marketing strategy and execution, developing a new brand and communications platform. She will be overseeing the brand, knowledge sharing, CRM, digital marketing and events.
