Regenda polishes Fylde lettings subsidiary

Manchester-based creative agency 22 Group has created a new brand identity for Fylde coast lettings agency McDonald Property Rentals following its takeover by housing association Regenda at the end of 2012.

Bolton-based Regenda Group manages 13,000 properties for rent or sale across the region, providing homes to 25,000 people. In December 2012 Regenda acquired McDonald Property Rentals, which has branches in Blackpool and Cleveleys, to expand into the private lettings market. McDonalds Property Rentals manages 800 homes employs 14 staff.

22 was selected to deliver the rebrand after creating a new image for Regenda's leasehold property division, Regenda Homes, in 2011.

Louise Douglas, head of communications at the Regenda Group, said the new look was "fresh" and "clean" and "builds on the friendly, knowledgeable and professional service that McDonald is known for."

Robin Arnold, creative director of 22, added: "The lettings agency sector is awash with brands that are stuffy and old fashioned, and it was important to create something friendly, memorable and contemporary."
