Regenda outlines development programme

Regenda Group is to spend £37m delivering 325 new homes for affordable rent and sale across the North West over the next three years

Developments have been confirmed in the following areas:

  • Merseyside, 67 units
  • Greater Manchester, 41
  • Cheshire, 26
  • Mid Lancashire, 52
  • Fylde, 79

The programme is partly funded by the Homes & Communities Agency. Work has already started on site at Atherton House in Earlestown, Newton-le-Willows, and Bourne Road, Thornton Cleveleys, and four more sites will be underway before the end of March 2012. The sites of the remaining 60 properties will be confirmed in the near future.

Regenda was formed in 2002 by the merger of Liverpool-based Maritime and Templar Housing in Macclesfield. Oldham-based West Pennine Housing Association joined the group in 2003 and Wyre Housing Association in 2005.
