Regenda agrees Cheshire stock transfer

Social landlord Regenda has bought 170 properties in Cheshire for £7m from Guinness Northern Counties.

The transferred stock is mainly in and around Crewe but also in Nantwich, Sandbach, Wilmslow and Macclesfield. Most of the units are for rental, but the transfer included shared ownership and supported living properties.

Guinness Northern Counties is based in Manchester and said Regenda was better placed to manage these Cheshire properties.

Regenda plans to provide an extra 1,000 homes for families and individuals in the coming years. Regenda currently owns and manages 13,000 homes.
