Redrow expands regional base

The listed housebuilder is to open a further North West divisional office in Daresbury after buying two neighbouring office buildings at Cinnabar Court.

John Grimes, managing director, Redrow North West, said: “The division has seen continued growth and as a result required additional floor space for an increased number of employees. We took the opportunity in searching for a new office to relocate the business to a more strategic location so we can more effectively cover the whole of our operating area. These properties are in an ideal location and by converting them into one we will create our own bespoke offices.”

Ben Fallows, director of commercial agent TFC, was appointed to find suitable premises. He said: “Sourcing the right property in the right location was proving a challenge but it was when viewing the potential of this location that I identified the availability of these two properties and negotiated the acquisition of both, which when combined would meet Redrow’s criteria.”

The two-storey properties comprise a total of 10,400 sq ft. Unit 4B was owned by Marshalls CDP, the original developer of the estate, represented by Knight Frank. Unit 4A was sold by a private investor represented by BE Group.
